I am doing well. Very busy. Getting things done though and stopping client work after 5 or 6 pm. I may then work on my admin stuff or my personal bills or things. My legs are just now peeling from the day at the beach. My left shoulder peeled a little after a couple of days or a week. I say this because I feel that this peeling is like a sign of the layers of things going away. The shoulder peel was me getting the "chip off my shoulder" as mom would have said. Then my legs are more of a flaking and flaking and flaking. Everyday there is a little bit more coming off and going away. Leaving a fresh new me to face the world!

I haven't had one of those days when I felt like I cannot get anything done or that the world is as overwhelming as it used to be. I don't know that I want to give you all of the power for this (I know you said I did all of the work) but there is some slight differences that are getting more prevalent since we spent the day on the beach.

I definitely feel that having the sound of the ocean, the cool breeze, the feel of sand in my toes made for a great venue for our work. We were able to discuss things and delve into things that just weren't possible in a one to two hour session. We were able to complete thoughts and feelings about things we worked on because there was not a time constraint. We were able to go in and continue working at things, around things and through things.

I look forward to more continued growth in the area of self-esteem and balance of work, family and self. I can't believe it has been a month already since we met. Wow!

I want to thank you so much for my major breakthrough. It's like a miracle.

You gave us instructions to write a problem we wanted do something about in the box. I was in class because of my obesity problem, so naturally I put in the box "Why do I overeat?" We were about to close our eyes, but something kept nagging me.

I was going about my normal morning chores when I got a notice in writing that put me into a tailspin. I became angry, filled with fear of a major loss, helpless because I could not change it, filled with severe emotional hate and fear.

Thanks once more for working with me and my volleyball teams. I learned a great deal from you about how to control stress during competition, and even use it as a tool for greater success. My mind set has always been that of an overachieving type of athlete with a very low tolerance for making mistakes. Your visualization techniques help me see how I can be my own worst enemy by being overly critical and negative. Having a positive mind set and visualizing what I want to have happen works. So many of these skills seem to come pretty naturally to good athletes who have figured out how to be successful.
