The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to outline exactly how we use any non-personally-identifying information and personally-identifying information that we may gather.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, NWP collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. NWP’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use the website.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to our website choose to interact in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors to provide a name and email address when using our contact form. Additional information is required when ordering from our website. NWP collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with us.

You need to register and create an account with us to place an order, because download orders are served via your account page. It also saves time on future purchases and allows you access to your previous order history.

When you place an order with us we require personally-identifying information to help process the order. We require data such as your name and address, regardless of whether you order physical products that require shipping (such as a CD) or downloadable products. This information is passed onto our secure payment processors WorldPay and is used by them to process transactions. It’s important that this information is accurate to ensure the smooth process of the transaction.

If you have supplied your email address then you will be automatically opted into our email newsletter list and we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new products, product updates, features, special offers, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with We expect to keep these types of email to a minimum. As an example, in the past 12 months we have emailed our customers collectively on just 6 occasions. Your email address will not be passed onto any third parties and you may opt-out of receiving such emails at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. This can be done with one-click.

If you chose to opt-out of our email newsletter list then you will not receive any promotional emails from us. We will only contact you by email if there is a problem with your order or in response to a query you submit to us. We do encourage you to stay subscribed, because we offer free lifetime updates for our products and you may not know about this if you decide to opt-out.

We never make contact with customers beyond email communication (i.e. by post), with the exception of the fulfillment of CD orders, or unless given express permission to do so. If you only ever order digital products (i.e. downloads) from us then you will never receive anything in the post.

To protect your privacy, CD orders are always dispatched under plain packaging without any reference to the content within or to our website. To comply with customs regulations, a return-address label is used on the packaging for international orders. This label does not mention the website, only NWP and our return address.

Protection of Personally-Identifying Information

Potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information is only viewed by the administrator of the website, fulfillment staff, and employees of NWP.  On occasion it is necessary for third party contractors to access the back-end of our website for technical reasons, such as improving the website or fixing any issues we may have. However, personally-identifying information is restricted and employees or contractors that provide services or are required access to the website to view potentially personally-identifying information do so under a confidentiality agreement that they will not disclose this information to others.

NWP will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.

NWP takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Request Deletion of Your Data

If you would like us to delete your data then please use our contact form and include details of the account you would like us to delete. We will then delete your account and remove your data. Please be aware that this means you will have no further access to any downloads you may have purchased, nor any future updates.


A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. NWP uses cookies to help identify and track visitors to our website, along with their usage of our website. Cookies are also used to keep track of a customer’s shopping basket and to retrieve information to prevent it needing to be re-entered each time you visit our website. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using our website, with the drawback that the website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.


In addition to using cookies as described above, NWP also uses cookies and related technologies to help identify and track visitors for advertising and marketing purposes. For example, we may sometimes use Google’s “re-marketing” service to target our ads to you based on your prior use of This means you may see adverts by us on third party websites, specifically those on the Google Display Network. This does not involve collecting any personally identifying information. It simply works insofar as “This person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page”. Any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by alterting your cookie settings or even permanently using a browser plugin.
